Imam Musa Sadr is one of the most influential Muslim theorists and practitioners in the modern era. Therefore, it is essential to investigate his social ideas and their ontological foundations. In this paper, we studied the ontological foundations of Imam Musa Sadr’s social thought in his collection of speeches and writings using the document analysis method. Sadr considers humanity to have four aspects: an individual aspect that governs his freedom, a social aspect in relation to other humans, a community aspect as a part of the universe, and a divine aspect that governs the role of the divine caliphate of humanity in organizing the other aspects. From Sadr’s perspective, humanity is the only transformative force in existence and history, occupying the caliphate of God. According to him, the system of existence is created and the manifestation of God’s good attributes, living and sentient. As God's creation, the universe represents his attributes and is moving toward Him. Each component of the universe has a distinct function and direction. In addition, a stable system and the law of causality exist among them.Without God, there is no longer any time for the universe to exist. In addition, it is governed by lawfulness and intent. Sadr views love as the basis of existence, the family as the cell and substance of society, and social relations between families as its form. He views the formation of society as the result of material and spiritual interaction and exchange among individuals. Ummah is not a static entity, but the result of people’s unity in thought and mission, which leads to their unity and cohesion. Moreover, due to God’s unity, all creatures are equal in terms of existence. In addition to being relative, evil is the cause of human development and discretion. Sadr believes that the existence of the afterlife is essential for the establishment of justice. Also contemplates birth and death based on rules that, if broken, result in death.

The concept of Islamic monotheistic society is an objective and practical reflection of monotheistic theoretical dimensions in the field of economic, political and social relations of society. In fact, with the emergence and transfer of modernity and social ideas branching from it to the Islamic world, contemporary Muslim thinkers, with different procedures and approaches, did more research and extracted more social dimensions of the concept of monotheism from the center of its theoretical dimensions; Hence, the role of these theoretical dimensions in drawing objective social relations is very important. The purpose of this article is to investigate the same dimensions in the thought of one of the Muslim social thinkers related to the approach of Islamic intellectuals and modern thinking in Iran, namely Dr. Ali Shariati (1933-1977); a thinker who in the field of sociological study about Islam and focus on the concept of monotheistic society, both in the years before the Islamic Revolution of Iran and in the years after; has had a great impact on Iranian Intellectual and social groups. The article was done in a theoretical, analytical, documentary and library method and during the research it was tried to explain and analyze the concept of monotheism and the theoretical dimensions derived from it, such as monotheistic worldview, monotheistic ideology, monotheistic anthropology, etc. in Dr. Ali Shariati's thought.

The concept of motherhood is the most important concepts in the relation of women. Despite the verses in the description of the quality of the relationship between femininity and motherhood, it seems that the past few decades, by considering the uniqueness of this biologic feature for women, this relationship is also considered as an obvious relationship. But, by challenging the concepts of motherhood from feminist thought and thinkers, the Muslim thinkers have more and more tried to determine the Islamic values and elements about caring of the child from the Quranic interpretations. Many of the responses to feminist challenges have led to newer interpretations and even interpretations that are similar to the feminist idea. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the various dimensions of the concept of motherhood and determine its place under these circumstances. In this article, the author, after defining and analyzing the concept of motherhood through using the comparative method , will examine the role of women in the status of the mother from the perspective of Allameh Tabataba'i and Amina Wadud.

Islamic state (government), an important concept in modern world and especially its political literature, has been established after the death of the Islam's prophet under the name of "Caliphate" or "Imamate" as an ideological, political, social and economic structure. Although The first Islamic state was built by the Islam's prophet in Medina, but after his death, the path that his successors chose, especially Shiites and Sunnis, had obvious differences, the differences that has been yet continuing and has created much crisis in the Middle East and around the world (especially after collapse of the Ottoman Empire). This article tries to analyses the social and ideological contexts of the emergence of contemporary Islamic movements in the Middle East and Islamic world for the first time and after that will have a comparative study of characteristics of Islamic state from the perspectives of Sayyid Qutb (1906-1966) and Imam Khomeini (1902-1989) in three major areas: "cultural-ideological", "political" and "socio-economics". this article tries to find intellectual similarities between the two thinkers and finally will offer other comparative/approximate studies in this or other related fields.

Classification of the Sciences has always been an essential part of the Islamic scientific thought. This was due to the significant role of science in the Islamic culture and as well as the development of various scientific traditions in this civilization.Philosophy of science, today, discusses the classification of sciences in which methods, subject matters, and goals of the science are studied. In addition, the discipline takes into consideration the scientific principles and foundations involved.In order to study this issue from the epistemological viewpoint it is necessary to pay attention to two problems: first are the intellectual foundations of its classifier and second is the relative realization of this classification in the scholarly milieu. This was achieved in regards to the religious sciences and their co-existence with secular sciences since a long time ago, but this was questioned in recent centuries after the introduction of modern epistemology.This paper examines three types of the important classifications in Islamic civilization proposed by Farabi, Ghazzali and Nasir Al-din Tusi and studies the formation of this historical experience, which is a religious understanding of all sciences and epistemological compatibility between religious and secular sciences.

Allameh Tabatabai is one of the great Islamic thinkers who proposed Etebariat(agreements) theory and made a great contribution to the development of epistemology. In particular, this involvement in the areas of humanities and social philosophy is noticeable. He discusses the social Etebariat(social agreements), which deal with the study of concepts and categories that are familiar in the field of social philosophy.
